Inspiration
Bardal is a classic, mottled wool fabric in a modern and muted palette. The textile is designed by one of Norway's most skilled and experienced textile designers, Merete Serrano. Merete traveled around Summøre in 2013 and spoke to several players in the furniture industry to find inspiration for a good textile for the home furniture market.
The smooth and soft surface is emphasized by soft and mottled colours. The color palette of 29 colors is inspired by natural tones such as the morning light over Mjøsa and balmy summer evenings in Gudbrandsdalen. Bardal is a lovely textile that creates a warm, inviting and harmonious atmosphere. It is great to combine with other natural materials such as leather, metal and natural stone, and is certainly one of our best sellers.
