Norwegian wool - a sustainable choice
Lillehammer, Norway, is situated at the gateway to the majestic valley Gudbrandsdalen, the cradle of Norwegian folklore and national identity. This is the home of the small, but internationally acclaimed woolen mill, Gudbrandsdalens Uldvarefabrik (GU). Established in 1887, we have vast and advanced expertise in utilizing the unique properties of wool. We use only the highest quality wool, and the majority of the wool used in our production is locally sourced. Wool from the Norwegian sheep is processed further into yarn before it is woven, dyed and finished for upholstery fabrics and bunad fabric, making our fabrics an excellent, sustainable choice.
