The superstretch in Prinsdal makes it possible to stretch the fabric on furniture so that the shapes can really be highlighted. It fits nicely around double-curved surfaces and becomes tight, nice and shapely. Just like the source of inspiration, the forest, the details come into view when you let your eyes rest.

Durable aesthetics. The product is experienced as innovative in weaving technology and as a new use of material. A woolen fabric with so much elasticity offers possibilities that can influence the expression of the furniture, and opens up new, curved shapes in fabric-covered furniture. The jury believes that the product shows that all parts of the production process have worked together well to get the best possible result.
The fabric reflects quality through durability, material selection, shine, structure and weaving tradition. It has an exclusive look that sets the fabric apart from the competition, and communicates GU's profile in a good way. According to the jury, the product, through its innovation, can contribute to strengthening the international reputation of Norwegian and Scandinavian furniture design.
